I never write reviews but I feel this warranted one. First off, Dr. Lake is a legendary colorectal surgeon. I recently had surgery because I have really bad diverticulitis. He cut out about 10” of the colon Removed 2 infected abscesses Realigned my twisted small intestine Recovery from surgery the first couple days are rough but each day gets better as long as you walk. I’m two weeks post op and my internal plumbing system is working great so far. I’m very happy I chose to have surgery with Dr lake. I’m now able to eat what I want with out living in fear if it will cause a painful flare up. And he’s a really cool, good guy with excellent bed side manner. The office staff is also amazing! Especially Elaine. The hospital tried to cancel my surgery 4 days before because all of a sudden they didn’t take my insurance. But Elaine fought the insurance company and got me a continuity of care so my surgery would not be postponed. If you got gut issues go see Dr. Lake and staff!

Visiting a proctologist might feel like staring down the dreaded dentist's drill, but trust me, with Dr. Lake (Valley Colorectal Surgeons) it's a whole different ballgame. His mastery of all things posterior, coupled with his smooth bedside charm and knack for humor, turns what could be a spine-tingling ordeal into a surprising bearable experience. I’d opt for a session with Dr. Lake over my routine dental check-up any day! Now, if he’d only switch gears and dive into dentistry, we’d all be grinning from ear to ear, albeit with a bit of cheekiness thrown in. Dr. Lake is truly the best!

Great doctors, great staff. I have been to all three doctors over the years, each are top tier with their own good natured and often humorous personalities. Front office crew is wonderful, they're all very helpful. Dr. Gingold has been my doctor for about a year and has helped treat a couple issues and even did my colonoscopy. Very knowledgeable and down to earth, and not one to rush to do surgery. We tried tackling my latest issue with the more conservative approach, but finally did opt for a "procedure". I read horror stories about what to expect and luckily it's been a pretty easy recovery. This is a great medical group for those issues no one wants to talk about.

I was very pleased with Dr. Lake and amazed at his logical, simple and effective solution to my incontinence! This had been an Embarrassing and difficult problem for me. I am grateful now 1 month afterwards as my incontinence seems to have disappeared!

Dr. Lake is a great Doctor/surgeon and the office is very responsive and helpful.
